Redesign of one of my favorite books so far »Thus spake Bellavista: Naples, love, and liberty« by the fabulous Luciano De Crescenzo. It's a string of dialogues and stories that he takes from everyday Neapolitan life and turns into a fable with special character.
As a cover illustration I decided to show the city of Naples with its colorful beauty. For a change, I worked without the help of outlines and tried to depict a landscape only through silhouettes and shading. Though I had some difficulties to get used to the new technique, I’m quite happy with the result :)
