Generalist Reel
Below is a small sampling of the many CG fundamentals  that i've picked up over my career. The first movie shows some of early camera and lighting work that I did at midway games, as well as some experimental projects like the underwater environment.
A complete reel break down can be viewed here. BREAK_DOWN.pdf
This is my rough color key for a moody moonlit feel done in PhotoShop CS5

The final frame! I did  a few touch ups in photoshop, but for the most part its all from the render. I was happy with the final camera, I was trying to get a POV of a prisoner in one of the bunks.
This is overhead view of the set in Blender. I modeled everything in the set in Max then exported into Blender as .objs
A turntable of the bed bunk grouping
This is a grab of the  layered material setup that was applied to the trunks. I was going for a old moldy leather feel.
This is the grab of the layered material setup for the wood planks of the walls. I was going for a peeled paint look for the planks to suggest weathering.
This was a example of a next-Gen game prop. Done in Maya

This was a fun animation I developed a Mel Script for, that helped animate all the small disks. The script applied a b/w image sequence to a grouping of disks that were constrained to hair fallicules , and based on were the disk fell on the groupings UV projection and its x,y location on the image, the disk's rotation was adjusted to the color value of images pixel. The lead on this project was Rob Person, now at Double Negative.
This was a product animation  I did for client  while at Burback Brothers Animation. I was responsible for the camera layout, lighting and material work.
