A few gifs of my head spinning at different framerates.

Shadows and highlights are created from the original video with filters, details were drawn on each individual frame.

This was a project made for my graphic design class in Adobe Photoshop.

To create this project, I started by taking a few videos of myself spinning, choosing the one in which the beginning and end lined up the most. Then I used KMplayer, media playing software, to save each frame as a png file.

In photoshop I traced the details of my outline, facial features, and glasses. I decided to be more rough with the detail in my hair, only focusing on direction due to time and the amount of frames, exactly 76.

The final obstacle was the color requirement for the project. With approval from my teacher I could use the original frames with filters. The filters I used being hue/saturation and posterize. I also lowered the opacity.

If I had more time I would have liked to make the highlights and shadows manually, using the original filtered frames as a guide. Filtering the original frames feels a bit like cheating.
