Twist and Turn Pavilion

Twist and Turn Pavilion
A pop up pavilion with light-weight and efficient portable structures. Inspired by the twisting gesture of the specimen: whelk egg case. this project is about the study of curve forms through a special kind of triangular folds, allowing to turn from vertical landscape to horizontal ground plane in polar opposite direction. Playing with fold and creating negative space, the goal is to create a new layer of visual experience to the audience.
