The Flat For Things
The project was created as a part of a group exhibition 'NAKED', presented by the first-year MA students at Lund University School of Industrial Design during Milan Design Week, 2022.

While nakedness relates to being vulnerable and exposed, it also has a raw and uncompromising energy. One can even see this energy polarizing. Therefore, I see nakedness as something brutal – an act of inevitable presence, withstanding time and the harshest conditions.

Inspired by the brutalist public housing, The Flat For Things shelve is reminiscent of heavy structures with small spaces filled with life. In similar fashion, the shelf’s cold, unpolished structure “houses” the stored objects. The way of assembling the aluminum panels creates moments of “sneak peek”, as if staring through someone else’s window in secret.
