What is lost wax casting?!
Always also called (investment casting) is the process by which a duplicate metal sculpture (often silver, gold, brass or bronze) is cast from an original sculpture.
Briefly, In this process we used sheet wax or wax blocks to sculpture our design with several different techniques such as modelling curved or twisted models with sheet wax or carving in wax blocks or melting the wax pellets in hot water vapour bath then modelling it into molds of the desired designs.
Second thing second comes the process of casting the wax into metal ( Silver, gold, copper, ETC), then comes finishing process by which the casted pieces are sandbrusted or grinded then plating them to give them nice and shinny surface.
