Inspired by Thomas McEvilley's essay - Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird, 13 Ways of Looking at Ultraviolence is a poster that visually retells my personal interpretation of Ultraviolence, a 2014 studio album by American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey.
Consisting of manipulated found images, self-taken images and illustrations, the overall visual composition and direction of the poster was influenced by an in-depth analysis of the various moods, metaphors, and references that were made in the album.
