> A harsh reality <

Guns, drugs, violence, alcohol, untrustworthiness.. Risk. Would you risk owning an exotic supercar in a harsh environment? Would you think of it as dependable, trustworthy, - would you rely on it to be there for you when you need it the most?

This project is born out of these thoughts.

Concept.

I keep thinking about how supercar performance has become so incredibly binary, with everyone competing for the exact same parameters. How fast is it in a straight line? What lap-times can you get on a track? How attention grabbing is it in the shop window?
Honestly, who cares? When there are 100s of cars fighting over incremental improvements, I keep coming back to the question: Could we create new performance metrics for sportscars?

The answer I have arrived to, is quite simple. It's all about how the car makes you feel. When a new track focused supercar is released, it's never really been about achieving peak track performance. In reality, it's all about trying to make the owner feel like a racing driver even if the car only sees real track use in 5% of its lifetime.

With my concept, relative to the scenario I created, I realized I wanted to make the driver feel like they own the street. Their presence should be respected and admired - but also perhaps feared. And a way to achieve this symbiosis of contradicting elements, is to take the existing formula of an exotic supercar, and provide it with the qualities of a tank. One part elegant, one part brutal.

For the interior I wanted the experience to be minimalistic and essential, with a Scandinavian industrial design approach that focuses on form following function.

A few wood trim pieces and handcrafted brass details bring life into the otherwise utilitarian environment, while a few ambient light sources act as the boundaries for the driver's focus.

The 3-person layout has easy access with the backwards-swooping gullwing doors, and offers higher practicality than traditional 2-door sportscars.

Exterior panels are made out of hardened steel, as well as the hub wheels and the accompanying airless tires ensures the car can take a beating while maintaining critical operating functions and shielding people inside.

If you made it this far, then I appreciate your attention. Thank you.
