Golfing at the Cape Club of Sharon

Real estate developer Michael Intoccia has spearheaded development for over 1,000 homes throughout Southeastern Massachusetts over the course of a career spanning three decades. Michael Intoccia has also worked on the Cape Club of Sharon.

The Cape Club of Sharon provides members with a range of amenities, highlighted by an 18-hole championship golf course. Regarded as challenging and aesthetically pleasing, the course is known for its finely-crafted greens and strategic bunker positioning.

The course was designed in 1959 by Geoffrey Cornish. However, revered course architect Craig Schreiner began an extensive renovation in 2006. Schreiner’s previous credits range from courses at the Oak Hill Country Club in New York to Ohio’s Firestone Country Club. For the Cape Club of Sharon, his renovations included redesigning the greenside bunkering, improving the drainage, and installing an advanced irrigation system.

In addition to the course itself, members can visit the club’s driving range and short-game practice area or receive lessons from certified Professional Golfers’ Association instructors. More information about the course and golf-related amenities is available at TheCapeClubofSharon.com.
