Growing Design
2019
The project focused on creating a novel design style, new ways of growing plants, new meanings and attachments. The design aimed to create interactive experiences that allow users to touch and engage physically with the space. Mounds were crafted to create tactile sitting and relaxation areas within the space. A body of water was designed around the space with water feature partitions to create the sound of running water, along with creating tranquillity through separation from the outside world. Dual epiphyte growers create an installation for users to experience and admire these beautiful plants.
