This brand system was designed for internal communications at IDEO’s Shanghai studio. This visual system was inspired by the grid of protruding windows that trademarked our new building. The color palette was derived by the colors most prominent in this new space: white paper, black ink, sleek concrete, and a wide variety of colorful, pastel post-it notes. This system was designed to reflect the vibrant and playful personality of the Shanghai studio—complementing the sleek, minimal design of the building with bright bursts of color and quirky illustration.
