Totem is a modular system designed using Ayse Birsel's Deconstruction/Reconstruction method.
By deconstructing "life" to its main components a system of symbols was developed to communicate simple messages.
When all the pieces of Totem are assembled they form a cane.
Each piece of Totem symbolically represent an emotion or feeling, and when assembled these emotions together create the support to help
the person keep on walking.
The wooden pieces of the final model were carved out using the CNC and the connectos as well as the handle were 3D printed.
