Victory Assembly of God church in Providence, RI, USA has a long history of serving those in need, both in the church's own backyard and in other parts of the world. In order to celebrate this missionary history and to inspire others to join in, I was asked to create a series of framed plaques for display in the church's foyer, and a sign to go with them. I used images of flags and planet Earth for the plaques, as well as photos of volunteers/missionaries and a relevant Bible verse. On some plaques I used a logo of a ministry the church supports through donations. For the sign, I created graphics to represent a large city and a small village, and placed them on either side of the display's title, which was filled with images of flags. This was to illustrate the wide range of places the church has reached through its missionary trips and financial donations. After the first series of plaques, which demonstrated the work of the church as a whole and of groups of volunteers, I then created a series of plaques highlighting the work of the church's senior pastor. Examples of both plaque designs are displayed below, along with the design for the display's sign.
