Crafting a Desktop Business Card Holder
using Oysters as a Metaphor
The design activity started with the team coming up with sketches representing their ideas for a oyster-inspired business-card holder. One idea was selected after all the ideas were discussed. The details for this finalised concept were sketched out, acting as our guidelines for the envisioned product's gestalt.
We took our ideas to the Metal workshop and began giving form to concept. Cutting, moulding and polishing the metal to achieve the desired form and quality of our product.
