A lot of these indoor ones are a bit blurred (I didn't have a tripod with me) but I still wanted to play with them in RAW, and I ended up salvaging a few.
We watched a short video at the museum about how these were made and it was really enlightening. Chihuly looks like he is probably an amazing person to work with.
This was by far my favorite part of the museum. The whole room was surreal
I'm pleasantly surprised this came out so clear. This is possibly the one time in my life when I have remained totally and perfectly still for a few seconds....
The boat room was probably my second favorite part of the museum. (I leaned on a wall to take the photos, hence the enhanced clarity.)
If the concept of a party could take on a physical form and explode out of a boat, I think it would probably look a lot like this.
I really enjoyed all of the colorful objects in the gardens. I started looking specifically for complementary color combinations to photograph.
For a mere $7500 you, too can own an original Chihuly sculpture. This one is only about a foot in diameter, but I have to admit the colors are absolutely gorgeous. The photo only sort of does it justice.
