Round Clamp Coffee Table

 

 

 

RCCT is made of three 57cm clamps and two 8mm thick round glass plate of respectively 50 and 55cm of diameter. Its name “RCCT” stands for Round Clamp Coffee Table, but it is commonly known as “Tavolino Morsetto”.

 

The divergence between the different parts of this small occasional table awakes the curiosity of the user and creates a connection by using tamed references that lead to a kind of affection.

 

In addition, this contrast between the parts pooled together leans on the unlikelihood of the assembly, using notions of both fragility and robustness that are characteristic of the materials that were used.
