"The Big Pitch" is a annual drama contest, it gives students across Arkansas the opportunity to film, star in and produce their own TV commercials promoting a tobacco-free lifestyle. This year was the first "The Big Pitch" award show and screening event. This year had the highest participation yet, with 75 entries. SOS requested the help of Arkansans to select their favorite video entry through the "People's Choice" Award. More than 5,500 votes were cast to choose the winner on stampoutsmoking.com. Nearly 200 students traveled to North Little Rock for the award show and screening event to walk the red carpet, have their hard work recognized, and see their commercials broadcast on the big screen.
