Character Modelling/Rigging/Skinning

Character Modelling
The modelling was done by looking at the old known low poly beginners tutorial a la "Joan of Arc". It's my first character and the project was done only as learning purpose. It taught me a lot about the thinking behind modelling overall and was really fun!
Rigging
I also rigged the body for easy animation, probably going to finish it off later on but it works fine when posing.

Skinning
First time here aswell, took some time to get the hang of it and to have the acessories (Gloves, skirt, shoulders etc) follow the body.
Everything was modelled in 3DS MAX, the face was imported to Zbrush were tweaks, normal maps, displacement maps and eyebrows were created. Also my first time, great potential!

Unwrapping
The unwrapping was partly done by the software 3D unfold (amazing program), but I also made some by hand for learning purpose (the sword, the face, boots and some minor acessories).

Textures
Texturing were downloaded from CGTextures and modified in photoshop.

Post
All post were done in photoshop using matte materials for almost everything, rendered in .exr for full control and dodged&burned everything shiny. Color corrected and so forth.

As I went further into my modelling learning project I realized that in my current expertise it'd probably be too hard to animate all of this so I decided to make stills instead and pumped up the poly count to about 30k without turbosmooth.
All in all, I learned a lot which was the purpose of the project so I'm thrilled :)
