Pauline is a multifunctional shelving system made in ash, designed for millennials who want to customize their own spaces.
The concept stems from the idea that a user tends to attribute a higher value to the objects he creates himself.

We identified some needs of our users: rearrange already worn but reusable clothes, flexibility and lightness so as not to clutter up already confined spaces, modularity.
The name derives from the assonance with the English “pole-in”, referring to a perforated base on which accessories can be grafted onto. The structure of the product makes it possible for users to expand the system over time, since a minimal but unconventional aesthetic keeps everyting together.
To simplify the distribution processes, it was decided to configure three basic sales packages. This sales system guides the user at the time of purchase, but without excluding the possibility, in the future, of expanding their furniture with the purchase of individual modules and accessories. In fact, they represent unique factors in different basic configurations: from the height-adjustable mirror, to the valet stand and storage trays. Accessories definitely make Pauline the perfect roommate.
