Storyboarding: BioShock Infinite

WARNING, POTENTIAL SPOILERS BELOW (second image)

In anticipation of the launch of BioShock Infinite, Irrational Games partnered up with Blur to create a memorable trailer known as the "Beast Trailer," named for the song 'Beast of America' performed by Nico Vega. Creative Director, Ken Levine, had his own notes and ideas for how the trailer should play out, but he needed some help getting it down on paper for Blur to work with. I created over 60 panels for the progression, many of which were used frame by frame in the final trailer.

In an effort to support the development team, I working alongside the Animation Art Director, Shawn Robertson, to storyboard out the dramatic ending to BioShock Infinite: Burial At Sea--Episode One. Many of the beats were relatively rough and unclear at the time, so I made multiple proposals to visualize how the scene could transpire and still show as little blood and gore as possible. I created over 30 panels for the progression, many of which were used frame by frame in the final cinematic.
