THE CLOCKWORK
This piece was inspired by the book Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf and her perception of time in the book. The sequential narrative traces a regular day of a man and his subjective understanding of time throughout the day. the physical time in contrast with emotional time denoted by the use of contrasting colors. The orange shows the frantic movement of inner time and the blue shows the slowing down of time. The movements he cherishes go by on a whim and the others go by extremely slowly.
