Leather on silk/sateen applique
I carved out a pattern from leather, then sewed lace beneath the leather
Created a grid like textures by sewing gathers of fabric, then manipulating the folds into a grid formation
I sewed gathered onto a woven fabric to create a fluffy cloud like look
