xplore - Innovation Through Play

Xplore isn’t just a part of the furniture, it can become anything a child could want to play with. The design is simple; one shape is repeated along a hard plastic axis to create a 3D object. Along with rubber rings to keep the parts in place this allows children to rotate any of the repeated shapes to any desired position, letting them create what ever they wish. A few examples of what can be made are:

·      A single or double sided chair
·      A single or double sided desk
·      A small tunnel
·      Something to climb on

Not only does xplore help a child be creative. With its assembly (using the small tool provided) it teaches them how to build and modify.

The target market for this product is 6-12 year olds, and has been designed using anthropometric data of that age range.
