The Adventure Knives
 
Context
 
Today’s hunting experience is typically laden with modern technology and modern materials. Ever since the prehistoric times, humans have been using knives for the purpose of hunting and survival. Over the years, this piece of sharp, shiny, metallic object has evolved extraordinarily in its look, feel and usage. Thus the idea behind this exhibition is to highlight the importance of knives, specifically the pocketknives, in the life of an adventurer for the purpose of hunting and survival, also how technology has bought a change in the efficiency of these knives and has made life easy for these people.
 
Objective
 
To throw light on the brief history of pocket knives
To provide information to those in the field of adventure about the different variety and vast range of knives that is in store for them
To educate potential adventurers about the importance and usage of the adventure pocketknives for the purpose of self-defense under any circumstances.
 
Target group/ audience
 
The target audience of this exhibition will be adventurers like mountaineers, explorers, voyagers, soldiers, hunters, travelers etc. but the exhibition will also be open to a common man who is interested in adventure activities.
