Nathaniel illustrates with his heart using all the tools and mediums that allow him to represent himself with his own personal touch. Each complete illustration carries a very warm humanity through the characters he casts, the lines he sketches by hand and the textures he layers into the background.

Most of Nathaniel’s professional work has been in those industries that tend to allow for a longer appreciation of his work. People spend a much longer amount of time with a book, a beautifully packaged product, an online or printed editorial piece than they do with a billboard on the side of the road. In these kinds of environment Nathaniel’s relatively quiet, considered tone of voice is much better received.

Which has lead us to think about other applications for Nathaniel’s unique tone of voice. Nowadays illustrations are appearing in a wider array of media and we hope that Nathaniel will benefit from that. Already he has appeared in the Get Trucked exhibition that we featured in the news last week and we hope to help Nathaniel enjoy many more opportunities like this in the future.
