The internship programme is set on Penarik, Terengganu. Basically, we have to build a gallery for awareness and conservation of turtle in Malaysia. The gallery function is to demonstrate public about the threat and create awareness among public, and also to educate public about the turtles.
WWF Malaysia has set Penarik Inn, which is the place to open the gallery of turtle. Penarik Inn had provide half of its hall to WWF Malaysia for the gallery. Internship students including myself are required to build the gallery from zero to; until the gallery finish.
We are supervised by three organization to consult us finishing the gallery, which are Penarik Inn, Hijau Group and also WWF Malaysia.
All four of us are given responsibility to finish the gallery within one and a half month period. The specific job each one of us is different. Khiddir has to make turtle real size replica. Syafie provide wall drawing of gallery. Hazmeen is making promotional video for gallery and I am required to make a hatchery replica.
Lastly within the period given, we manage to finish 90% of gallery before the opening of the gallery itself.
