This piece was created as an invitation for a Veronica Beard trunkshow event held at luxury retailer, A.K. Rikk’s. Veronica Beard is a contemporary womenswear brand that A.K. Rikk’s carries. My inspiration for this piece was heavily drawn on the brand’s “Barbie” doll theme for the season.

I began this project with the goal of creating an invitation that would give the recipient a nostalgia of opening a new doll. I chose to create a card with a removable paper doll insert, that would be placed inside a clear plastic sleeve to give a plastic wrapped final touch.  To achieve the final product, I collaborated with the printing experts at Brightformat to digitally cut + soft touch the card and doll insert.
