Wildlife Crime Awareness Card Illustrations

This project was developed through UHI and Portsmouth University. The brief was to create a set of illustrations to create awareness for a wildlife crime. I chose to highlight fox hunting as something I was already passionate about.

Since it is traditional for hunts to happen on Boxing Day, I created my illustrations as Christmas cards which would be the perfect time to bring awareness. The cards would therefore need to look appealing from a distance (on a mantlepiece for example) but hold a deeper meaning when looked at closer.

These collage illustrations were made with watercolour paint and Adobe Photoshop with photographs sourced from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester and West Midland Hunt Sab Groups.
