The Process This reconstruction is made based on a hands-on dissection of the head of an elderly female cadaver. Below you get an insight into my lab notes that contributed to my understanding of the anatomy.
Medical visualisations often portrait middle aged, caucasian men. This illustration represents the new twenty-first-century world of scientific illustration in which we create diversity and representation. Below you see the first initial sketch on which the project is based. Underneath that you see the final graphite drawing.
