Chair:
As part of a group initiative for a foundation Semester in year 2 we were asked to devise a collapsible structure that implemented principles of tensile loading.
A recliner chair was designed out of wooden posts and pivoting joints that inspired from the typical kerala rocking chair.
The product was designed to be light and elegant. A feather cushion attaches itself via knots to the upper surface of the chair.
An ergonomic foot rest was added to the bottom of the chair that can be locked into different positions as per comfort requirements.
