The group housing is a medium rise, medium density multi-family residential development with a pedestrian friendly environment.  The traditional concept of a service core is modified to create individual blocks in whom the core is split into two to create a pedestrian street through the block. This street is then bridged to make the service core functional and create a well contained environment for walking and lingering. The east-west oriented streets are landscaped and intertwine to create multiple green spaces. Parking is arranged along the periphery of the site at the end of each pedestrian street which means that the bulk of the site is car-free and safe for people of all ages. A community centre, shopping & sports facilities and a cultural club are located centrally to complete the community.
