• Bell Pepper Study is a quick exercise in understanding and replicating 3-dimensional form through model making. For this exercise, the model is made from foamcore and at a 1:0.667 scale. What initially was a purely spatial study has also turned into an experiment in work documentation. The making process is presented using animations and playful modes of visual communication.
  • The conversion of the bell pepper from physical to virtual.
  • Running through each slice of the pepper resembles a fMRI brain scan.
  • Combination of all of the vector shapes of individual bell pepper slices.
The shapes were then scaled up and transferred onto foamcore and put together.
