Andy - NICU Portable Ventilator
This work was done in collaboration with the Meyer Children’s Hospital of Florence. The involvement of medical staff allowed the identification of critical issues during the entire workflow in the use of physical and digital interfaces of medical ventilators. The Andy ventilator is a versatile product that improves ventilatory assistance, preventing user errors. It is easy to use in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) and during transportation without having to disconnect the ventilator.
