Sustainable development goals are a set of 17 goals and 169 targets that were signed and adopted by all United National Member States (193 countries) in September 2015. The SDG agenda provides a blueprint for achieving peace, prosperity, and equality for both humanity and our planet. The goals have been spread out in phases, and the objective is to meet them all by 2030.

SDGs recognize that poverty and other kinds of deprivations can end only if they go hand-in-hand with tools and strategies to eradicate inequality, improve education and health, and spur economic growth. And all of these progressions should be tackled while preserving our environment, forests, and oceans.

Let us look at what all goes into making the SDGs successful and how sustainable development goals action awards give an impetus to the various causes.
