ASHES
The ash has been for many years the representation of the pain and the fragility of man, exposing the human being in his most tragic experiences. Although this installation represents part of the painful history of the Czech Republic and its people, and its passage through communism from 1948 until 1989, it does not stop there, on the contrary, this story is the same as it is capable of rising majestically from the ashes of its own destruction, symbolizing also the power of resilience, that unparalleled capacity to renew ourselves in beings much stronger, brave and luminous.
