Architects develop their ideas during the conceptualization stage of the building after a deep reading of conservation theories and UNESCO emphasize on preserving historical sites by defining the Heritage 'our Legacy from the past, what we live with today, what we pass on the future generation’ the designers decided to keep all elevations as part of the design of a fortified look wall The design challenge was how to make the relationship between the old and new structure and to make the client realize the space through different movements from old to new space by experiencing the space conception façade However the space’s concept is built on different levels and one of our aims was to give an impression of an old feeling for the person when they enter the old building by imitating the pattern to be as parametric and cover the facades, and to not make them forget this building represents their present, by using the glass, levels, underground Designers paid attention Designers paid attention to the main element in the ruined façade (repeated arches at the main entrance) to be repeated in the central courtyard as half-arch that can only be seen in the front perspective, the modulation of half-arches has been repeated five times Also, the composition shape resembles the form of the land, it has been inspired by the principles of the courtyard.
