A fun, lively identity and visitor experience for a new fast-casual Mexican restaurant
chain’s prototype store in Maui. I was on the design team responsible for the graphic identity, and overall personality for the restaurant, including store environment, packaging, and marketing collateral. The identity is based on a fictional character, Doña Esperanza, and her whimsical band of characters: El Piglet, La Chickadee, El Moo-Moo, La Shrimpita, and La Fishee. I developed a style of illustration that had a festive feel and carried it throughout every aspect of the restaurant.
