Adaptive Reuse of historical building

Rendered view of the proposed three bedroom apartment - kitchen area.
Historical building - The Red Stables located in St.Anne´s park Dublin 3.
Oak trees were Lord Ardilaun´s favourite trees, therefore the trees were planted around the St. Annes park. The oak trees had also a function to create a sheltered belt surrounding the park as a protection against the wind coming from the sea. Oak trees represent multiple things such as nobility, strength, wisdom and endurance - the residents will plant seeds into their homes then take root so they can grow in the same place over time.

They will age in the same position as the oak trees, and acquire endurance, strength and durability when it is thriving through better living conditions. As oak trees the residents at the Red Stables shall receive a home where they have room for growth, where they can achieve strength, and endurance. This is how they will be growing in place without the need of changing their living situation.
Proposed bathroom located in the three bedroom apartment.
Proposed courtyard area with outdoor seating.
