This short film is made with the mindset of constructing a video painting which engages with a psychogeographical exploration of a typical Moscow neighbourhood in the time of the pandemic. The film connects with the idea of liminality as a term describing the space between two states: outside and inside. The night as the threshold between two days appears sinister without people, in the time of the lockdown. By allowing the street environment into the interior, the film invites to travel without leaving the house. The film explores the dichotomy between the forbidden urban landscape and the imposed domestic interior and its impact on human emotions.
