Photoshoot for an upcoming project entitled "Saints", about the covid-19 lockdown
Joan of Arc was a french peasant girl during the Hundred Years' War with England.
She claimed to have visions and listen to the voice of God, who urged her to lead France's armies to expel the english invaders from her homeland.
Dressed as a soldier, and carrying her banner into battle, she boosted the troop's morale and inspired them to several victories, that would ultimately lead to France's victory in the war.
Captured by the english, she was put on trial for heresy, and burned at the stake.
