Annyanka Branding Strategy & Identity Design
This project was born in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. The owners are two sisters who wanted to knit and sell crochet figurines.

The story.
Annyanka is born thanks to two sisters who wanted to go into business together by selling crochet characters. They originally requested a logo, but we developed a branding strategy instead. They realized there and then, that their project had so much more potential than they originally expected. It wasn't just a logo, it was the discovery of the need for mothers to show their kids how much they love them, and how important it is to build memories together. They also realized the huge potential that their stories had, so we decided to mix it up a little, and each character that they knit becomes alive thanks to a compelling story.

The goal.
The goal was to position Annyanka as a different brand. Most crochet brands focus on tutorials, or showcasing the products. We needed to push the market's boundaries and show their audience that stories are very powerful and much more effective in creating memories.

The solution.
With a very colorful logo and childish brand identity, we found that our final customers (the children), are more receptive to the brand. The logo is a mixture of a ball of yarn filled with magic (represented by stars), and at the top we have a witch's hat. The hat appears because Annyanka, the main character for this brand, is a witch that can make your wishes come true!

We also ended up discovering, over time, that storytelling is a must, so one of the owners disguises each week and goes on Instagram live to tell more stories about the children's favorite characters.
