WE’RE WOMEN

‘We’re Women’ is a portrait series bringing light to women’s mental condition in the Indian subcontinent.

The concept behind this series is to show the present condition of TO SHOWCASE THE PRESENT CONDITION OF WOMEN IN INDIA.

The rise in cases of molestation and rape drew my attention towards this issue. I wanted to express the INSECURITY, HORROR & TRAUMA, women have to go through each day. I have tried to bring out the helplessness, they face to cope up with these events. However, the last two images speak of women taking a stand for themselves to ensure their secure existence.
