Laura Wood's profile

Faculty of Law INTER

The Inter-American University of Puerto Rico is a private, non-profit institution of higher education that, for more than 100 years, has served as a cultural bridge between North America and Latin America.

Within the academic offer of the Law School, the Continuing Education Program offers professional certificates, courses, seminars, conferences, workshops, and diplomas.

The Continuing Education Program of the Faculty of Law logo was more than 20 years old, and they needed to update it so that it would follow the visual consistency of the new and redesigned image of the University with its official green and yellow colors. Likewise, the Faculty of Law building has become an icon recognized for its architecture, entrance, and conference room.

The logo I designed is an abstraction of the building entrance unified with INTER's leading brand. Later, the new logo was implemented in all marketing material, catalogs, brochures, and social media promotions.

In 2018 I designed the AMICUS quarterly magazine, which is characterized by the publication of short and punctual articles on immediate issues, both of a legal nature and public policy, offering the country writings that contain updated analyses on current debated matters.

Logo design for "Pensándolo Bien" (Thinking about it well), a project of the Law School of the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico,  in which they offer a weekly live stream on Facebook. With the participation of Julio E. Fontanet, María Dolores Fernós, and Carlos Ramos, they talked about and analyzed current issues.
