This project was done as a part of classroom assignment. The objective was to design a book cover for any selected novel, poem etc. The goal was to understand the use of semiotics of shapes, colours and signs and apply them in the design process.

I selected muted shades of red to show despair and sorrow combined with light grey to establish the classic era and the times of war.
Typography
I opened for the typeface EB Garamond. It's a modern serif typeface that is humanist and communicates classic.
