We were required to make a stylised wooden toy using sourced pieces of solid wood under the theme of transportation. The wooden toy design and construction must have at least one moving part, one lathed part, one complex wood joint and must be finished by fine sanding only. The design must compliment the wood pieces, considering the aesthetic elements of wood texture, colour variation and wood grain.
