No CAD on this project, just good old-fashioned marker renderings and 2D drawings from which the design took shape...
The modelmaking took over three solid months with over 500 handbuilt parts. Good fun...
The lower section, exhaust takes shape... the metallic blue was an offical VW car color, I seem to remember...
Yellow foam, all carved by hand, primed, sanded, then primed, sanded etc...
...and some more sanding...
Needless to say, the lights on the model worked as well :)
