For this Commercial Photography assignment, we had to shoot a piece of jewelry or other reflective piece. I photographed my mom's birthday tiara on black velvet first, with a bracelet prop under the velvet, then on the black velvet with black marble. The goal was to get even lighting across the reflective piece without hotspots or outside reflections.
