The goal of this Illustration project is meant to be a spread from a hypothetical graphic novel based on H.G. Wells' "The War Of The Worlds", specifically detailing the abridged high points of Chapter 17 - "The Thunder Child". It was completed using Micron pens, Copic markers and transparent acrylic through my airbrush.

Below are my research photos of a turn-of-the century British Torpedo ram, which helped me re-create "The Thunder Child".

These are my research images of different renderings of the Martian War Machine - I wanted to be sure my version of the iconic alien mechanism was original and not copied.
