Cumulus - The Weather Sign

Cumulus
A Neon Weather Sign by Hunter Whitaker
Cumulus is a neon sign that connects to a weather API on the internet via an ESP32 to tell you what the Weather is outside through a NeoMatrix and NeoPixels. I made this project because I have had numerous occasions in which I walk outside and it is either super cold or raining outside and I am not dressed for the weather so, I decided to make Cumulus which helps solve that problem of not knowing the temperature and the barometric pressure outside. This project was an experience for me because I have never used a weather API, and an ESP32 before so, learning how to use both of them and teaching them how to talk to each other and then the NeoMatrix. Cumulus uses a 16x16 Neomatrix to show the temp and the city that you are looking at.Plus, 120 Neopixels to show the barometric pressure by making them a baby blue if it is high pressure or a rotating blue neopixel if it is low pressure.
This is the final product in Fusion 360 after adjusting for the holes for the buttons to switch states and the hole in the back to make the hinge gate to place the ESP32
This video is for the form prototype to show where certain components would go around the interior of the sign
This is the final project application showing the different cities used, and the overall finished construction of Cumulus
