This is one of my earlier projects that I have created at Frank H. Peterson. The task at hand was to make a water-based reflection based on the preexisting image.

My teacher wanted us to create an image that could pass as a real photograph where the structure is being reflected in rippling water.

The key to doing so was making use of Photoshop's various filter effects, such as blurring and the distortion effects. The extent to which we used these were up to our discretion, which lead to a great deal of trial and error as I worked to find the right balance of filters.

This is a mockup of what the image would look like if it were to be placed in a frame.
